Tandläkare utan gränser sends out dentists, dental hygienists and dental nurses as volunteers. Also future dental personnel, i.e. students, can of course go.

Hello!
My name is Nikoo Bazsefidpay and I am the founder and chairman of the non-profit organization Tandläkare Utan Gränser (TLUG). I am very happy that you have found our website and are interested in our organization. TLUG is a Swedish organization that was registered in March 2009. Since the beginning, we have worked with volunteer projects in countries where oral health is neglected. The work focuses primarily on education and preventive dental care and our motto is that everyone has the right to good oral health.
We on the TLUG board work on a voluntary basis, and our organization is run thanks to the support of our members and partners. We operate in several different countries, which you can read more about on the website.
I have personally worked as a volunteer on numerous occasions and encourage anyone who feels ready to join and create more smiles in the world. Two weeks of your life will make a big difference and mean better health for many people in need. To get a better idea of what it's like to work as a volunteer, you can read our travel stories.
